Compassionate Community Care services include but are not limited to: companionship, supervision and observation, medication reminder, assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, meal planning, preparation, diet monitoring, exercises, escort to appointments and light house cleaning.

Recovery from illness, or living with a chronic, progressive condition, varies from person to person. No two people are alike and response to illness, as well as treatment, is rarely simple. Often there are cycles of being and feeling better and being and feeling worse, moving between multiple care settings, and utilizing a mixture of support services.  Compassionate Community Care offers a variety of services to meet any need at any stage of illness or recovery.

The path taken depends on various factors unique to each individual, including:

• An individual’s ability to care for himself or herself without assistance.
• An individual’s goals for recovery, and where and how those goals will be best achieved.
• The services and supports available in one’s area, including home health care.
• Available resources (e.g. financial, insurance, family and friends, and government assistance).
• Privacy needs.
• Spiritual and cultural preferences.

Some long term insurance company will cover home care expenses; however, it is up to you to check your individual policy. Medicare and Medicaid or other health insurance plans do not cover home care.

Yes, we can send caregivers to hospitals, nursing homes, and assisted living facilities. We provide all of the same personal care services, just as we would in your own home.

Yes, we provide 24-hour home care services. We usually break the shift up between two caregivers so that each caregiver will remain fresh and alert while on duty.

Yes, Compassionate Community Care offers caregivers that are multilingual and multicultural to meet your specific needs. Languages include English, Chinese, Spanish, Russian, Japanese and Tagalog.
